In a shocking new twist that surprised literally nobody, Train Sim World 4 was announced in the recent Dovetail Direct stream. So what is new? Is it worth it? How much will it cost?


First off, what is the price?

And what about bundles?

As above, there are three bundles, Standard, Deluxe and Special. There are also regional packs not available for pre-order.


Standard includes: three core routes (see Content section below) and updated Training Centre.

Deluxe includes: above, with upgraded Riesa-Dresden, Siemens Vectron and 60103 Flying Scotsman.

Special includes: above, with West Rhine, Southeastern Highspeed, Boston-Providence and LGV Med.


What is the new content?

There are three core routes and two loco packs available at release.

Includes OBB 4024 Talent and Railion 185

Antelope Valley Line

Includes F125 locomotive with Rotem cars

Includes Vista Canyon station (not yet open IRL)

75mi long, 13 stations

ECML: Peterborough to Doncaster

Includes Class 801 and 66

80mi long, 5 stations

Loco packs (Deluxe and Special only):

60103 Flying Scotsman Centenery for ECML

Siemens Vectron in Railpool livery
